Kinda new, kinda old, kinda big
Hi folks, I've found this site by mistake several times and on purpose a few more. Decided I would join today as I am in the mood having attended a pipe concert last night. Of course I wore my formal outfit. Last year my daughter married a Scot so it was a good excuse to buy a kilt (I've always wanted one!!) Quite the wedding. It was in Italy with a whole mess of kilted men wandering and marching in the streets of Cortona. Anyway, a friend found a couple more beautiful kilts at an estate sale, neither appears to have been worn much, if at all. The straps aren't even marked by the buckles. This brings me to my question. Does anyone a source for strap extenders or should I go to the shoe man and have some made? There will be another wedding this summer and I would like to make the "spare" kilts available to other family members. I have worn my kilt to work a couple of times and promised the ladies that I would show my legs on St. Paddy's Day. Here in the Wahington desert, legs won't be out for a few weeks.

Welcome
Welcome, you'll not find a better group of people to learn about all things kilt. Where at in the Washington desert? I am in the Tri-Cities myself, and there are a few more of us around this side of the state. There was even talk of a Kilt Night some time in the future. Anyways, welcome again
