    Kilted at work

Appologies for poor picture quality. Here is a photo taken in the classroom an hour or so ago. Students (of English) think it's great that I'm kilted at work

Great look! Nice to see a teacher showing the kids it's OK to stand alone.

That's what I like....a teacher that leads by example. Learn English and how to express yourself. Seems like a natural combination! Nice look.

Excellent example. Those kids will remember that for the rest of their lives. Will you wear the kilt again? frequently? Daily?

    Thanks for sharing this scene.

I'll be wearing quite frequently, at least once a week is an estimate. I teach at a teacher's training college, so there is no issue re. dress code etc...

Well done Porrick! Its great to see another teacher kilted in the classroom! I've been wearing a kilt to teach in (at my college) since the beginning of this semester - thanks to the encouragement of group. I average three kilted days a week.

I'm sure your students will get a kick out of your new kilt - and so will you.

You must have a blast if you teach English Lit and you get to MacBeth...

..."And now for my particular favorite play of Shakespeare's..."

My daughter's class is scheduled to go to a local art center to see a touring production of "the Scottish Play" in a couple of weeks and I checked the box on the permission slip: "Yes, I am available to chaperone"...I have a feeling that they'll pass over me because the KNOW that I'm going to be showing up in a kilt if I go on that one! The weirdness is that I'd be outdressing the cast of the play...it seems from the production shots that it's a "punk-goth-leather" version of MacBeth...Shakespeare meets the Sex Pistols...perhaps the actors wanted to wear their street clothes...
