    Dunedin Highland Games

Well while visiting Florida last week I stopped by the Dunedin Highland Games. My sister and her family had never been to any events. I was concrened that some would not enjoy spending the day there but everyone had fun.

regarding K.A. I was not good and only purchased a two hats, three shirts, and a semi dress sporran.

    See these photos-

Know that no one said anything when I went to dinner, my wife thought it would be cute.

And see at the end of the visit my brother in law trying out my Stillwater kilt.

You forgot the best part of day....the big lumbering manly men on the athletic field. Actually that was my first time at that particular venue and I had a blast. It is a very well run festival. I threw the "dunedin Stone " for the first time that weekend. It is a 100 lb rock that is piped onto the field with great amounts of ceremony ,christened with good single malt and thrown for distance. I threw 7 feet the field record is over 15 feet . That one was thrown by a strong man competitor.
