looking for a decent kilt belt
Can anyone recommend a place where I can find a kilt belt and buckle here in the states. Some of the prices at the online stores are a bit steep plus you have to add shipping and import duty if you get a genuine Scottish product.

Try the Scottish Tartan Museum. I got a belt from them and am very happy with it. It is a well made belt that will last.

The question begs many other questions. what type of wear, formal or daily use, color, Are you looking for a "traditional" belt or more modern. Something with an Elvis style buckle or not. There have been a bunch of threads here on this topic try a thread search. I know some people have had good luck at Home Depot, and Walmart, I picked up a decent belt at HM for 15 bucks.

I'm happy with the $25 black leather I got from Celtic Croft (see link at the top of the page). it was only another $25 for a nice buckle for special occasions. Quick shipping and nice product plus I got some hose and it all came to less than $70.
