I had a Horrible Kilted Nightmare

Guys, I had the most terrifying kilted nightmare. For some reason I was going somewhere for an event and it required that I wear a kilt suit that was being shipped to me especially for the occassion. It was the night of the event and I opened the box for the first time only to see that it was a kilt & argyle jacket made entirely out of seer sucker material! Yes, that intentionally wrinkled light blue & white striped material so dear to the hearts of Southern Gentlemen.

When I wore pants I always loved wear seersucker suits during the summer heat, but it was absolutely nightmarish as a kilt.

I'm so glad that when I awoke there was no such monstrosity hanging in my closet.

Some people have nighmares about being eaten by demons. Glassman has nightmares about wearing seersucker.

    Hmmm.

I just looked it up: The word originates from the Hindi, Urdu, and Persian words "shir o shakar" meaning "milk and sugar."

In all honesty, I should be thankfull for the seersucker nightmare. It kept me away from the night terrors I still have where I relive my experiences on 9-11 or worse.

Being a boston swamp-yankee myself, I find that most things people here in the south wear would be hellish in a kilt.

Yeah seersucker wouldn't be the worst. I was anticipating something like a see-through kilt or one of those dreams where it keeps falling off in public or something like that.

I can only imagine what it must have been like, and the sacrifices you and hundreds of others made in trying so save people. I think about it everyday. Well will never forget.

LOL...I also had a nightmare last night.

The Isle of Skye kilt I returned to Lochcarron for repair came back as a white cotton kilt with flags (Welsh, Irish, Saltire) printed on it

I woke up sweating and with a very bad mood...took me 3 espressos to recover.

I think I need to order a kilt today

I'll take the blue one. The other two are just not my color.
