Argyll jackets made from my own fabric??
Greetings:
Does anyone know of a firm in Canada, or the UK (I must have that Commonwealth connection!) that makes argyll jackets and waistcoats? I have some good heavy linen which would make a spiffy summer jacket! Please reply by PM, as I don't get on X Marks all that often!
Thanks!!

I will reply to this on the forum and via PM. If you are looking to have an Argyle jacket made from your own fabric, on option is to purchase the Simplicity pattern # 5029 which features a jacket and kilt. Now these won't be the same as a jacket ordered from a shop that makes these jackets regualrly, but if you have good sewing experience or a good tailor near by this will make fine jacket, especially if you have good fabric.
You can get buttons at either http://www.highlandxpress.com/patterns.html#patterns (they also have a Prince Charlie pattern) or at www.tartatown.com
