    It's a skirt!

My friends and I were waiting outside a resturaunt in Arlington today for a table. I was wearing my SWK royal stewart and the all associated stuff. Anyway, two women walk out of the front door of the resuraunt. One them looks up at me, her eyes open up really wide and she loudly blurts out, "It's a skirt" in level of amazement people in comic books would yell out "It's Superman." I wasn't really expecting that, but without a pause one of my friends belts out, "at least his fits!" Her face turned as red as my kilt and she stormed off. It wasn't the nicest thing to say but it was really, really funny.

I bought my friend a screwdriver for that comeback. Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I love it when loose tongued fools are forced to eat raw crow right there on the spot. I like to think of it as a kind of summary justice.

    Thanx for sharing.

I love it! You have good friends who'll support you like that! It's a good way for someone to learn a little something in the process.

A quick and GREAT comeback without you needing to do a thing. I love it. Buy that man another screwdriver.

Why is it that I can never think of those come-back lines at the time, but only after the moment has passed? Diderot called it l'esprit d'escalier - staircase wit - the funny, or otherwise, remark one only thinks of on the stairs on the way out; so clearly other people have had the same problem.
