I attended the Celtic Fling yesterday and as always it was an absolutely 1st class event. My wife and I made sure to check out all the musical entertainment and let me say, I was absolutely blown away by Scythian. I never saw them before but I am definitely a fan now. I love Enter the Haggis and have seen them several times but these guys are even higher energy. No bagpipes, but two fiddles make up for it. They throw a lot of Americana and mid-European influences in their stage show. I have never seen a crowd as worked up as the one at their last performace of the day. Their cd's are good but they are much better live. Catch them if you get a chance.
