Kailzie Gardens & Spirit of Scotland

A sunny day today for Ann's stroke group summer trip to Kailzie Gradens, near Peebles, and first shots of my new Spirit of scotland 8 yard 13oz.

We travelled there on a modern Mercedes coach.

    Peacock

Ann on one of the lawns.

Beside the fountain in new kilt.

    One of the ponds.

    Ann in the walled garden.

A fine view towards the north east, looking to the hills across the Tweed.

    Kilt & Rhododendron.

    Courtyard coffee shop.

Looks great with that t-shirt! You're rivaling the peacock for brilliance…

Beautiful pics. The scenery is beautiful and the kilt looks very nice. Did Ann enjoy herself?

    Did Ann enjoy herself?
Yes, KCW, she thoroughly enjoyed the coach trip, touring the gardens and a very good lunch. The gardens are only about 30 miles from home so not too long a coach trip for a group of disabled people. Normally I have to drive everywhere and take Ann's electric mobility scooter along in our van but Kailzie Gardens have a fleet of wheelchairs available for free use by visitors who have limited mobility so I was happy to do some wheelchair pushing in return for being able to relax on the coach ride.

A couple of those photos of Ann look like she was cut-n-pasted into a postcard. How, um, picturesque!
