Denim kilt jacket
I saw this on *bay and immediately thought that with modification it would make a great dressier casual kilt jacket as an alternative to the biker/western style denim jacket. It has patch pockets that can be removed and made into pseudo pocket flaps and just eye-balling the picture it seems as though the bottom button is low enough to be sacrificed for a nice gradual curve in the front. Since it is white denim it should be easy to dye any color if desired or for that matter it could be tie-dyed for those of you with 60's nostalgia. Since it is made by a well known company with stores in many cities it can be checked out first to see if it has these possibilities.

I'm not a big fan of the color. If it were tan or grey it might work. It is of course significantly too long. Being white, could it perhaps be dyed a more acceptable color?
