Mkmound Invades Baltimore!
Hey Baltimore Kilties!
I have an upcoming trip to your area . . . during the week of August 13 - 18. My travel dates are not finalized yet (and therefore a bit more flexible, but I'll be attending a conference. Let's do a kilt night! ![Cheers!](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_beer.gif)
DC area folks should be on alert, also -- if there's good transportation from downtown Baltimore into Washington, DC, I may come an harass you as well!

WOW! And it just so happens that Freedom Kilts will be in the DC area at around the same time.
Any one else up for a kilted visit to "The Wall"? It's been a few years since I've visited my friends.

At least you guys have been warned, so have a good time. Sort of wish that I could be with you.

Just let me know a date and I will see if I can make it. I'm still free that week, except for work.
As far as visiting "The Wall", I have been contemplating stapping on my US Army kilt and making a trip to DC to visit the monuments and Arlington. I especially want to get back to Arlington, as I feel every American should visit there to remember and reflect.

Cool! A visit to "The Wall" could definitely work, possibly followed by an invasion to some pub, or other near-by sites.
In terms of dates, I'm committed to Monday - Wednesday at the conference, but could probably sneak out early to mid-Wednesday afternoon (16th), or on Thursday (17th). Or Sunday (13th).

I guess it's "West Central Texas comes to Maryland summer"... Heya, MkMound. I moved up here D.C./Maryland 'burbs from Abilene in May. The Baltimore (BMI) airports is about as close as the far end of D.C. Hope to see you when you're here.
And a combined or rotating kilt nite of Bal'more and the District would be beaucoup de fun!

Hey Scotty,
The irony of that was not lost on me either!
