Ordered my first non-tartan kilt
I've spent almost 3 months vacillating about which non-tartan kilt to buy. I've gone from UK to AK to FK and everything else about 100 times. However, I really like the army green canvas kilt that is shown on the Canadian Casual Kilts main webpage. I sent Pete about 5 e-mails with all sorts of questions and he was more than willing to do whatever I wanted. After getting a small bonus at work (who new you could get a bonus working for the federal government?) I finally put the order in on Sunday. If anyone else is thinking about ordering from CCK, I will say that they have great customer service and are extremely flexible. Now I've got a couple months to wait; it's only been 1 day and I think I'm going to pass out from excitement.
There's no way I could ever be that picky about a pair of shorts or jeans, let alone have a chance to talk to the person who was going to make them for me. This kilt thing is quite a different world and I like it.
