    Thumbs up Brit-coms

I have been a big fan of some Brit-coms for quite some time. Especially the shows, "Are you being served" and "Keeping Up Appearances".(Patricia Rutledge is the bomb as Hyacinth Bucket! I mean "Bookay!") I watch them on PBS when they do come on. "Mr. Bean" and the Black Adder series is great, but the aformentioned shows bring me into fits of hysterics.
I have searched for video sets of these shows and can't find them. Perhaps I am looking in the wrong places. Anyone know where I can get season sets of these wonderfully hillarious shows?
Also, does anyone like "The Red Green Show"? It is just as funny! It's the Canadian version of Jeff Foxworthy.

If you want to see many other Brit-coms without initially investing the money until you are certain you want to buy the sets try Netflix for a short time. I have been going through a number of programs and have found a great deal that I was not aware of. There are also some really good Drama and Mysteries too. Presently I am going through "All Creatures Great and Small" from the beginning. In keeping with the website I believe Herriot went to vet school in Scotland.

Try a search on XMarks for posts regarding some of the other shows.

    Cheers! Bill

I like Red Green Actually, I think he's funnier than Jeff Foxworthy, but that's me.

Last night I saw a show on SciFi called Garth Marenghi's Darkplace . I didn't know what to expect, but I would describe it as a cross between MP's Flying Circus, Black Adder, and Mystery Theatre. It's absurdly hilarious.
