New 10yd Ancient Old Stewart kilt

Went up town today with my wife & Grandson wearing my new 10yd Ancient Old Stewart kilt, thought you might like to see it. Its my winter kilt, I am not saying its heavy, but it take two of us to put it on
Outside my house, trying the Dearstalker out with the outfit

This is me & my grandson at the statue of Jimmy Dyer, a well known busker around Carlisle in bygone days, it is in the Lanes Shopping centre.

I thought you might like to see the pleats.

The pictures are not great, but it gives the general look.

It looks good but the pictures don't give a feeling of moving pleats. They look solid like a new kilt w/o the basting stitches removed. I'm sure it looks less structured in motion. O'Neille

As I'm not up to speed on kilt making, is it ten yards because it has deeper pleats or more pleats? My kilt is going to be around nine yards but that's because I am a big laddie, you're not that big.

The kilt looks absolutely magnificient by the way. You wear it well too!
