    Kilt Travel

Last weekend I was in Minneapolis and wore my Hunting Stewart 5 yard with a rugby shirt on the plane. I got the security special in Tucson but on the way back the same kilt didn't set off the alarm. I wore it on the plane because the wool/PV is very comfortable and versatile. I took along an 8yd black watch and my new Saffron Heavy. I didn't take any trousers as I wasn't about to wear a suit. I only had along my black Argyle jacket and several changes of hose, and in addition to my black Doc Marts I had my black Ghillie Brogues. I only took along rugby shirts for day use and had a white dress shirt and a wing collared shirt with a black wool and a black bow ties for pairing with the Argyle and White rabbit sporran for evenings.

Had lots of good conversations Re: the kilt and handed out a lot of O'Neille Kilts cards. I sampled about 6 new to me scotches and was only kilt lifted once. The question came way too many times, but it was always in good fun. I was adopted on Saturday night by some People from a Stewart wedding that was being held in our hotel. After a few more drinks I found myself singing Rugby songs in the hotel club. Some pictures from the weekend are also posted. http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=21155
Man was it difficult to put on the suit for work on Monday after not needing it for four days. O'Neille
