WARNING - Gaelic Island Kilts

This a warning for anyone thinking of purchasing items from Gaelic Island Kilts (Prince Edward Island, Canada). It saddens me that the owner of this establishment is one of our own members (Moosehead) yet he has cheated RonStew, Randy, NancyMan and me out of hundreds of dollars.

We each ordered a custom made Inverness Cape (and some other items as well) in the April / May time frame. Since then it has been nothing but apologies, excuses and missed deadlines. Recently he has stopped responding all together. We are in the midst of filing fraud complaints with the Better Business Bureau and PayPal and notifying his website hosting service and others of these events.

Please, no piling on here. I’d like to keep this thread simple and concise. If you have done business with Gaelic Island Kilts (successful or no) please reply to this post with your experiences.

I'm going to ramp Dee's polite request up to a statement.

There will be no piling on. I made the mistake of letting that happen once, and the individual is still reminding people about it.

If you have history with Gaelic Island and want to share that experience, then do so. If you don't, then you'll do far better to spectate rather than speculate.

Right now I'm so freackin drunk its unbelvealble. you giuys jknow the wife has been sick, really sick. Worse, she had a stroke last onth. all the capes aree done and have been for awhile. yeah, i suck! delivery sucks. but my wif is alive so frig you D. I'm still waiting on a few items as well ... I was told that they were shipped in Nov., so I'm not sure if they're tied up in customs, or if the whole thing was a fraud...
