    Kilt from ebay

    I just won a new Macleod tank on ebay. It is the loud Macleod. Got an e-mail from the seller and he is putting it in the mail today. The kilt was made by Geoffrey Tailor. I am looking forward to recieving it. Let the jonesing begin.

    Nice get I saw that one and was tempted but with xmas coming and having already bought myself sever gifts I can't justify anymore gifts for me. Enjoy and Look forward to the pics.

    TatooBradley, sorry for your loss, but it is a Macleod tartan and my heritage is Macleod. Plus I really like the tartan. This will be my second tank.

    I like it, as I mentioned to your son at the Hartwell Games!

    My wife's family includes the Lewis line, so I have some ties to MacLeod (especially Lewis). PLUS, I like the yellow and black look.

    THAT is on my list of "to get" tartans.

    Then by all means: I'm glad you won it and not I! I have no McLeod connection. That was really the reason for my hesitation and low bidding. As mentioned before, my wife would have killed me. My kilt allowance is running pretty slim since I sent payment to Matt for my upcoming Henderson (weathered) box pleat. Congrats, and post us some piccies when you get it in and on.
