He´s ten ... and he wore it to a visit in his old primary school on tuesday!!

That makes me more proud than the kilt itself!!!

Kilt pin:

I bought an aluminium rod at my local DIY store, cut it into pieces and glued them together at the back with epoxy glue. Added two pins at the back ...

It has no "meaning", I just thought it looked good.

I am planning to make him one in a similar design, an abstract Harp, this being his instrument, I hope he will get it for christmas.
