Erin, I do apologize for taking so long in getting these images posted here for you to see. But I did have an extra pair of hands at the house today, so I've finally got some ready to post.


One of the Freedom Kilts Dress Models, in Charcoal Polyester/Cotton material. And no, I'm not wearing a sporran, because -



This jewel has the slash pocket option. Handy as the Dickens, if you ask me. If there is a downside to the kilt, it is the way those first few pleats flare when you have your hand in the pocket. (I just look at it as a good reminder to keep my hands out of them! )



The charcoal material just swallows up all available light, so there's not much to see, pleat-wise.


The Freedom Kilts logo, stitched in silver. Sorry about the wrinkles, here and there, but I had been sitting here in the office for a bit, before my 'photographer' arrived.

This kilt is really incredible. It dresses up and it dresses down, just as well. It is quite comfortable and the fit is absolutely incredible. This was my first non-tartan kilt and I wondered if that was going to be an issue with wearing it regularly. LOL, I like wearing it everywhere!

If there are any of you on the fence, trying to decide whether or not to buy a Freedom Kilt, let me give you all the encouragement you need to place that order. You won't regret it, believe me.

Looks great Mike, and the shirt matches well also. What is the logo on the shirt? Looks liks asaltire, but I can't see what it says.

You have just beaten me to it! I too have very recently taken delivery of one of Steve's superb Dress model Freedom kilts, the difference being that mine is in navy blue. However, you have expressed virtually word-for-word what I was planning on stating in my appraisal, in particular the comment about the pocket's effect on the pleats.

I am afraid I was hyper-critical in my notes to Steve, but he subsequently went to considerable lengths to explain all the whys and wherefores regarding this great new addition to his range that I am more than satisfied and hugely pleased to have this marvellous garment in my Kollection. For just over a year, I have been enjoying my first Freedom Kilt - a casual model in Charcoal - and the Dress model is just as finely tuned as that one is.

I do not yet have any photos of it but, if I know myself, it will not be long before that is rectified!!

I'm loving my maroon dress model Freedom Kilt. Thanks for the look at the charcoal.

I like solid color kilts because I have all these print shirts from my pant wearing days that clash with tartans. The solid kilts let me wear those shirts I still like.

And the Dress Model is a bit more formal for the office than my UKs and AKs.

KCW, I had these shirts made up for the staff members of my own forum, about a year ago. It is a bratach dubh, a black Saltire, with the words Saor Alba underneath.
