    Leather Jackets

Its that time of year again to get the leather jacket out.. getting pretty nippy here in Wales when the suns not shining. Theres a tan brown leather jacket in town that I have seen (would go great with me new brown cord shirt etc) .. draw back though, its £125. Will have to stick to the black one for a while longer. Does anyone else here on x marks wear a leather jacket with their Cilts/Kilts.

Yep, I wear one that is decently fitting. But, I also wear other "bomber"-style jackets, which end just below my jean waist. I just match the formality or casualness to the occassion.

IMHO, nothing beats a well worn leather jacket with a kilt, unless a Prince Charlie is appropriate.

I have one that's cut very much like Rob's, above, but it's distressed leather. It's very comfortable, though I think just a tad too casual - I wish I had gotten one just a bit dressier. The ones shown in both pictures are more appropriate for being kilted than mine, I think. You both look very good.

The look works with solid color kilts too. I "stole" this beauty for about 1/4 the retail price during the off season at a ritzy shop in Telluride, CO.

The kilt is the UK natural white vegan workman's.

And, check Ham's gallery, he has a lot of pics with leather bomber jackets.
