    A Funny Occurence

Currently at my high school it is Senior Spirit week leading up to the Senior Night football game and I had thought that there might be the possibility of a senior wearing a kilt. Interestingly enough, today was the last day and the theme was School Spirit. I saw a senior, in a tartan kilt and had to stop and say something to him in passing between classes. Only when I reached my next class did I realize, He was wearing it backwards!!! I did end up seeing this uneducated kiltie later on in the day and managed to set him straight. He did say when I told him though that he seriously thought he was wearing it correctly. He even tried to argue with me. He did finally consent but it was, to say the least, entertaining to see someone wearing a kilt backwards in person. With recent threads on things like this that I have seen, I thought I should share it and give you all a good laugh.

I really don't understand how people manage to get it so wrong!

And how could you not try to save the poor fellow from further embarrassment.

A honorable deed by a fellow kilt wearer and a Dune fan.

He must have thought until you put him right that you were wearing your kilt back to front.

It's a smile for some. Yet, for the courageous young man that was wearing the kilt, a kluster of kilters giggling would be an err. Some admiration and appreciation for the Senior in his initiative and fortitude it took to don the garment (regardless of correctness); and kudos for an appropriate in person counselling effort by souzaphone711.
Indeed a precedent likely has been set. I'll bet at least two kilters simultaneously on campus occurs rather sooner! ! !
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

At this point it is left to chance as I have worn mine about once a week since school began in the second week in august. If the two of us manage it on the same day then quite an occurence it shall be. I just hope he doesn't get in the yearbook as the first to wear a kilt regularly. If i am lucky enough, by next year I should have the necessary number of kilts to go full time kilted to school. Maybe I'll ask for a tank for my birthday this year.

It never ceases to amaze me how anyone can get this wrong in the information age. It is so quick and easy to find anything you need to know if you are the least bit uncertain of it.
