Richmond Celtic Christmas Dec 9-10

My wife found a little bit of info about this event that's supposed to be at the raceway complex where the Richmond highland games were held, but we're having a difficult time confirming the date and place. The website seems to redirect to a web store for a vendor. We'd really like to attend this event, but don't want to drive for two hours if it's changed date or venue. Does anybody know aything that may help us??

Paul, I attended the event last year. The vendor site to which the link takes you was the sponsoring site last year. The entertainers listed are the same ones from last year's event also. Last year, the event was heavily promoted at the Richmond games, and I saw nothing about it at this year's games. I am thinking that they might not be having it this year. Another reason I think this might be true is that advance tickets were sold on the vendor website last year and I don't see them this year. This is disapointing, because I too was looking forward to the event. Last year, I was one of only 5 to 10 guys who were kilted there, and most of the others were vendors. You might try emailing the vendor to see what they say.

Thanks Jer, I'll let the wife know. I did see while doing a search that the 2004 event was cancelled. Since I couldn't find anything for this year, it would seem that you could be correct that they may not be having it this year. Sorry to hear that, we were looking forward to it.
