A fine kilted evening.
Met up with Woodsheal and a couple of our other regular kilties at the monthly Binghamton, NY kilt night. The music from The Stoutmen (http://www.stoutmen.com/) was great, as was the draft Guinness.
Oddly, none of us remembered to bring a camera.
There were a couple of ladies, rather full of drink, who were QUITE interested in what we wear beneath. Victor, our 84-year-old Royal Navy vet, was glad to tell them some stories.

I traveled through Binghampton a few months ago...I meant to get in touch with you NY-state kilties, but never got around to it...oh well, glad you had fun!

Victor is truly our kilt night "guru," a distinguished Scottish gent who wears his Highland garb with comfortable elegance - and at the same time is a crusty, profane old seadog! (During the War, he was torpedoed twice by u-boats, and participated in the D-Day landings.)
The lassies (and more mature ladies!) naturally gravitate to him. Here he is with wife Anne and son Ken:

Excellent pic of Victor and family, but please also post some pics of your next kilt night so we can share it with you and get to know the faces behind the names.

The other kilties there last night were Gene, Brian (Woodsheal) and myself. Here we are with Victor, in a picture from last month's gathering.

Great pics! I'm seriously considering a Balmoral if I can find one in solid black.
