Pricing info...
I may be getting access to several older kilts, belts, hair sporrans, pipers jackets, glengarries, flashes, socks, spats, brooches, bagpipe covers, etc... I would like to know how to decide on a reasonable price for these items (I would be selling them for an organization). I want to make sure they get a reasonable return on the items. EBay is tough to read, because it's hard to compare the quality, and there isn't a lot of used stuff there. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Oh, of course, XMarks members would get first crack at the goodies! (After me, of course!)

You might want to check out the prices people are asking for used items here: http://www.highlandxpress.com/used.html
Best regards,

ON this site Bob Dunsire they have a trading post that will have one offs of most of the stuff you listed it might be worth checking out. Please let me know what you have first though as our struggling pipe band here in PA is always looking for good deals.
Thanks,

I will usually find similar items on ebay and watch the auctions to see what they finally sell for. Then factor in any other issues and go from there.

Shipping & handling buddy, that's where your profits will be! Let people think they're getting a good deal then get all your profits in S&H. Put the item in a bag, lick a $1.00 stamp put it in the mail box and charge $25.00! This is what I suggest...
...by the way did I mention I'm 30 minutes away and will pick my stuff up. I'll bring you a double-double, we can forget shipping and handling right?

Those sites look helpful! I will have to go back soon to inventory the lot... may have to call upon you, Grant, to give me a hand (Timmys is nearby)!
I will keep all of you posted...
