Jr Athletics
Most Highland games offer children's athletics. However, most of these are designed for small children (ages 5-9) but I have not found anything for that in between age when a child is too old for throwing a plastic toy hammer and big/old enough to complete with the adults. Does anyone know of any game that has offered games for children in pre and early teen years?

The games at Culloden GA had an intermediate group last year...not a serious competition but designed more for getting some of the kids interested.

I think the one here in arkansas had a teen last year. Wanna say it was the first time and the turnout was rather poor.
