The adventure begins.
Well guys,
I'm about to power off my computer for the last time at this apartment and go get the truck to move us to the new one. The weatherman is threatening us with snow today, so this is turning into the next great adventure in our lives. I don't know that I'll be back up and around tonight, but hopefully tomorrow. 'Til then, folks, keep your heads up and your kilts down!

Just an FYI for the rest of you..... It's snowing down here in Colorado Springs so I imagine Charles is moving in the snow.
You and Helen take it easy up there, Charles. Let's NOT hear about you slipping on snow covered ice.

At this time (10:30AM) no snow here at my place.
Take care Charles, I know that you two were happy to get this place, so it was meant to be. So the move will go smoothly, perhaps chilly but smoothly.

Thanks for the good wishes all. We're about halfway done, and late on the truck. Since we had to pay for another day anyway, we got another load in in the start of the nastiness this morning. The rest of the week will see us bringing what we can on the bus and renting another truck next weekend. Whew, what a trial. But we're mostly in the new place now. We would have been all the way done, but the place we're moving out of still hasn't cleared away snow from the storm in December, so we were fighting with ice and snow to try and get stuff out to the truck, and it made some stuff impossible to get out. To top it all off, both of my kilts were in the wash, so I had to work in pants. I might get around to posting and reading the regular stuff later tonight, just wanted to let y'all know we made the move (what we could of it anyway) safely.
Would one of you who drinks kindly take three good solid drinks of a good single malt for me? Some days this not being able to drink is for the birds.
