    Isle of Skye Dreadbelly Tam

    Its here!

Had sent Dread some local Navajo made and natural dyed yard because the colors seemed to match the Isle of Skye tartan. Being new to this I didn't realize that the yarn was for making rugs. Dread and his wife managed to untangle and retie and shake the sand out of the Navajo yarn then craft it into a magnificent tam to go with my Isle of Skye kilt.

To show how cool the colors came out from Dread's skillful crafstmanship lets play "Find the Tam."

Gotta be careful not to toss it down on the Isle of Skye kilt or I'll never find it.

Have to be careful hiking. If I dropped it in some sage would be hard to find.

Or if it fell into some other desert shrubs...where'd it go??

Or if I set in on a rock to rest then walked off without it...would be hard to relocate.

Kinda looks like just another thirsty scrub....

Thanks Dread, save my measurements, I'm gettin' me more of these for my other tartans. You're a true craftsman.

I'd really like one of those for my IOS. Ron, do you have any more of that wool?

    **Whimpers**

    It is rug wool..!

Edit. I might have just enough for a second, but it is iffy. Also, the wool is very, very coarse, with the exception of the dark green, which was lovely and nice.
