New Signature Policy
After discussion among the X Marks forum staff members, it has been decided to implement the following policy, with reference to signature files. We are aware this will not be a popular policy change for everyone, but some of the current signature files are more than just a little over the top.
Signature Policy
a. Signatures may contain up to a total of five lines (one line being that displayed on a browser opened to 800px width) with text being of small or normal size.
b. Text sizes must be either 1 and 2 (small and normal). Text in signatures is subject to the same conditions as posts with respect decency, warez, emoticons, etc.
c. Links are permitted in signatures. Links are included within the text limits above. Links to offensive or competitive sites may be subject to removal.
d. Users abusing these rules will be warned.
To clarify the total of five lines in a signature -
This is line one
This is line two
This is line four
This is line five
Please note the font sizes allowed. The forum defaults to size 2 and that is the largest allowable size. You may use the bold tags and you may use your choice of color.
It is possible to attract attention with smaller text | And make multiple comments on a single line | So please don't complain about it
We ask that you make these changes to your signature files immediately.

Just a friendly reminder about this new policy. We thank those that have already complied. To those that have not, we appreciate you looking after this issue ASAP.

OK, for those that have yet to comply, don't be surprised to see your signature has been edited. I'll be making the edits as I find need for them.
