    Red face Watches

Since you folks have effectively fed my kilt interest.

Years ago when working with an old friend form Paris, we began talking about watches. How many Americans like the Rolex brand where in Paris the look at other brands equally. He showed me one brand he was quite fond of...an Italian watch called Panerai. originally designed for the Italian divers it soon became one of the hottest watches. maybe it was its simple design, its interchangeable straps, its movement, its ugly but simple look... i dont know but I soon bought one and am looking forward to seeing how it looks with the black watch kilt

for more info on these take a look at http://forums.timezone.com/index.php...eadt&frm_id=24

the energy and excitement you/we share over tartans, kilts, and all is seen with that forum over panerai watches...so much so that they constantly post fotos of their watches in different venues...likewise they will see a new foto soon of a black watch kilt, with a black watch watch

    nice

I love my G-Shock, just the simple classic model.

I never had a watch that lasted more than a year, most no more than a few months. I tend to break things that arent made of steel or ABS plastic, and G-Shock was the first watch that ever held up. I kept expecting the lens to crack or something, but 9 years later I have that same watch on my wrist.

I have had to replace the bands twice, but since I purchased a Zulu Band I dont expect I will have to replace those any more either.

I have been surprised how my base model has taken a beating from me and came out unscathed. Case in point, over the holidays while visiting family I was tooling through the kitchen and WHAM the crystal slams into the handle of a cast iron skillet. so hard that my first reaction was to grab my wrist and as i looked down to my shock the crystal was not broken, cracked, scratched or blemished. That was the worst it has been, so i can understand its imperviousness to the lighter stuff i have put it through.

Dread, at one poin Tissot was making stone and wood watches, this may help your problems.

I personally have been lusting after a Yes watch for years http://www.yeswatch.com/wrist-watch/...per/cozmo.html

I love watches. I have more than a few watches, but I have yet to find the perfect one. I have been looking at a few models of Tissot right now. I don't mind getting a Oris as well.

If you look up annal retentive in the dictionary, you'll find my picture there.

I never go without a watch. I usually wear a Citizen electronic for its accuaracy and virtual indestructability, but I value the Omega Seamaster above all.
