February in Sunny Santa Cruz
The Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess and I took a long leisurely stroll by the ocean on Sunday. I thought people might be interested in what February looked like in Santa Cruz California.
A view of the sea from West Cliff Drive.
This bronze statue of a longboard surfer is about a 1/4 mile down the road from Santa Cruz's Surfing Museum.

Nice pictures. I think it's supposed to get up to 37F today here.
Regarding the second picture, is that an example of the Panache pose?

Hey Panache,
My family was down at the Santa Cruz boardwalk on Sunday, but they would have reported if they had sighted you in the area. I know I've gone kilted in nearby Capitola, but don't think I've worn one at the boardwalk amusement area, have you?
Best regards,
Jake

Harumph! Looks like very nice weather.
Here the FOUR inches of ice we got last week is finally starting to melt. It's now falling off buildings and smashing things. Things like car windshields, pedestrians....you know the drill.

I visited LA in January. I was gung ho to move there, but the cost of living put my dreams in a nose dive right into the mud. I wish I could figger out a way to make it work. I love California. I wish I could have visited longer.

Great pictures.
Reminds me I must go see my cousin out there soon, great inspiration for the planning.
