Finally got it done!
This is 8 yards of wool, pleated to the sett, and I put in a satin liner.
I have 3 ince velcro closures on both ends of the apron.
Here's me just before I stepped out of the house for church. I am wearing the dress sporran that I made about a month ago...

This is a VERY warm kilt and I'm wearing it all I can before warmer weather!
