    MacGregor tartan

    I thought this may interest soem of you guys that have been making their own kilts or are wanting to try your hand at it. Fraser and Kirkbright has the following (among others) listed:

    CDN $16 / metre

    Definately stripe JimB.
    I wonder if that 11 oz black wool would be decent for a kilt jacket? Anyone have experience in such things?

    Ok, for the uninitiated of us.... Why to the stripe? With this tartan, I would think sett would be the better answer? (We are talking the white stripe, right?)

    Great chance for a cheap belted plaide.
    $80 CDN for a 5 yarder of double width, and 16oz to boot.
