    My Son is Jonesing

So last night, while out for another Greenville Kilt Night, my son asks me if he can get a kilt like Mr Dreadbelly's for his birthday. I told him that I could do that. He woke up this morning asking if he could get a belt like Mr Brett's to go with it. Now while I think that belt would be way too big I told him I could get him a wide belt that would suit him. A half hour passes and he is asking how soon the kilt and belt will arrive. His birthday isn't until May... What am I in for over the next three months?

Well... A hemp RKilt is going to set you back 3 or 4 hundred dollars.

I'd say you were in for some debt and financial concern.

Dang I swear I'm not getting kickbacks from Rocky . . . but have you thought about giving USA Kilts a buzz? If Rocky offers rush orders for casual and semi-trad kilts, odds favor him doing similarly for a child's kilt. And it's wash and wear! (I'd no put my child into a all wool kilt, not no how, not no way!)

Is this the only forum on the net where a mother would announce that her son was jonesing, and be encouraging him? Just curious...

Boy has good taste at least. And a fine mother to boot.

Jim's birthday isn't until May so he will just have to wait. Also he wears an adult kilt but I don't want to get anything too expensive because he will quickly outgrow it. Already as tall as me and he hits growth spurts regularly.

I got him a Sportkilt for his first. It was alright but He wants one more like what the guys at the kilt nights wear. Kilt nights have been great for boosting his confidence about wearing a kilt in public. I credit Dread and Brett for that. Thanks guys.
