How does the Saint Andrew Kilt Pin from USA Kilts look on a kilt? I ordered one along with my casual...
Like any other "sword based" kilt pin, I would imagine...
I think it looks great! HAHAHA Seriously... one thing to look for in a kilt pin... thickness (not width of the sword, but the DEPTH thickness from the part you see down to the pin on the back) of the hilt and tip of the sword. Some pins are very nice, but thin and the tip and hilt tend to snap off (Kelly has replaced several Kilt Pins over the years). The ones we carry are made from pewter (a pretty maluable metal) and are thick, so they don't break easily. True story... we were at a local bar (Kildares in King of Prussia) a year and a half ago and it was raining. Her KP fell off in the parking lot in the rain and was run over by a car. One of the Valet guys found it and since we were the only ones in kilts, they brought it inside to us. It was bent up pretty good, but a little "gentle persuasion" and it was back in shape.

Well it's just that the angle of it in the picture is a little funny. Kind of distorts it. Or maybe it's just me, I dunno. Haven't had coffee yet...
Yeah, and Rocky, I know all to well that a pin needs to be thick. The Thistle pin I oredered from Sportkilt snapped after one day of use. I wasn't a happy camper...
lol i remember that day at the beginning you were so happy with your purchase, that didnt last to long
Nope... Right in the middle of 8th hour I look down and go '***?!' Lousy kilt pin...
