    San Antonio St Patrick's Day

Some friends drove over from Houston and we met downtown to catch up on things since we all left Germany. We toured the riverwalk and looked at all the green tee-shirt Irish acting silly. We found a spot in the shade close to the Alamo to watch the parade. I only saw one other kilt that was not in the parade during the day. Lots of McTablecloth kilts came out in the evening for the serious drinking down by the river.

At the Irish Festival at La Villita the Guiness shirt kept them asking to make sure I didn't get too thirsty. The kilt got us a taste of 18 yr old Glenmorangie, wonderfully smooth.

Only two weeks to the San Antonio Highland Games.

This guys last name was Sullivan. Told him about this group so hopefully he'll show up.

The Harp and Shamrock Pipe Band

    Black Bear band.

    This guy was styling.

    SA Fire Dept Pipers.

    St Patrick's Day TX style.

LaDonna and I outside the Alamo.

The weather was great and a grand time was had. Ya'll come down next year.

    YMOS,
    Tony

Looks good neighbor. I see the central Texas weather held across the area.

Thanks for the pictures. I spent five years in SA. The photos bring back some wonderful memories.
