Highland Holiday 2006 #2
Another Ullapool sunset. Glorious to behold as long as you can fend off the midges!
Stac Pollaidh (Stack Polly), a mountain near Ullapool. Funnily enough I saw a restaurant in Dublin St, Edinburgh, with the same name!
Noah's Ark Island, Lairg, Sutherland.

The lighthouse at Dunnet Head, the northmost point on the UK Mainland. The Island of Hoy in the Orkneys can be seen across the water.

Excellent pictures, Trefor. I've had lunch in that hotel at Tongue which just makes it into the right hand side of picture.

Thanks for the pictures... I particularly like the picture of the cow!! My nephew just fell in love with one at last highland game I took him. This big macho kid,( you all know about teenage boys) asked if he could pet the cow, and spent about 5 minutes petting the cows head....
