The Albany - Saratoga region of NY got a 16"-20" snowstorm that started on the 16th and went into the 17th so our parades and some parties were postponed by a week. Here's a small sample of the afternoon activities:
SWK Standard Black Stewart, Sporran has a shamrock catch and embossed celtic knots, sweater is dark green Aran wool with purple inflections.
Obligatory pictures of ladies who love the kilt.
Some of the pipe band behind us.
Unfortunately since I was in the parade I don't have many pictures of the other kilties who marched. I did see about 3 others along the route who were wearing their kilts while watching. I will post a link to other pictures of the kilted from Saturday night's activities.
Here's a glimpse of the variety of tartans we were wearing last night. Sorry there is no group photo but it was a family event and it's difficult to pull together a bunch of guys when they are chasing down kids who were very in to dancing to the live irish music.
