    ok I'm addicted

Yes I haven't had my first kilt 2 weeks yet and I have already ordered another one! A SWK standard, in Black Watch, after doing some research I found out that Black Watch is an approved tartan for the Campbell clan. At least that is what is stated on the web site for the Campbell clan USA. Can't wait for it to get here.

Now I need a Kilt belt, suggestions on where to get them on the cheap?

as with anything, cheap isn't always the best way to go. I would ask Cavscout about his belts. You can also check out most of the other vendors here.

True cheap isn't always best, but to start out with, and on a budget, sometimes its what ya gotta do.

    Mountainman,

Take a look at this thread pdcorlis wrote a while back. $16 for a sturdy kilt belt is a pretty good deal.

    Mountainman:

You want cheap? Go down to either Home Depot or Lowes and check out their 3" leather work belts. They're pale pink, but take a nice stain, and trimmed down can give you a good solid kilt belt for $15-20.

The SWK should be at your door in about three or four days. Jerry doesn't offer kilts he doesn't have in stock, and he ships 'em right quick.

    You're gonna have fun!

Wow, I just got mine not too long ago and I've not even gone that far. I wish I could afford another, but with the sudden loss of funding for this addiction I'm just going to have to jones for a while.

Yep, I have 2 of those, one in mahogany and one in black. Really stiff at first cause it's veg-tan leather, but they get better quickly and make great casual belts. I didn't see one at HD in 3", only 2". I find 2" to be more comfy for general wear.

Well the only reason I can afford this is because I am getting some fence for free, so I had an "extra" 100 bucks to use.
