I need help picking a tartan.

I want another mini-kilt!!! I can't decide on a tartan. I want a versatile tartan. I want something bright...nothing muted or weathered. I want something that will go with both casual shirts and dressy shirts. Anyone have any suggestions?

From what little I have seen of you, with your dark hair and eyes, style of makeup, etc, I'd say go with a tartan with heavy purples.

    It would be most flattering.

How about the Leatherneck Tartan? Bright red, blue, green and gold.

I' vote for that too. If you want something bright, go with Buchanan modern... very nice...

    I do like purple.....

I've thought about the Isle of sky. I don't know that it would go with a black party shirt though.

It would help if we knew what material and/or company you are planning to go with. The tartan selection differs from vendor to vendor, especially in materials like Polyviscose or poly cotton.

Maybe Sportkilt. I was very pleased with the mini-kilt I got from them.
