Smile Jermaine Jackson - is no commando

Jermaine Jackson was in Glasgow last week publicising anti-racism. He appeared on one of the local radio stations where he stated that he would like to buy a kilt. He was duly taken by the show's presenters to Slanj Kilts in Glasgow where he was able to purchase a kilt. From newspapers pictures, he cut a fine figure in the kilt but alas admitted that he would wear 'underpants' when wearing the kilt which he thought was very comfortable.
My experience is that most guys when wearing the kilt for the first time believe that they have to wear something underneath as the kilt will blow up and lead to embarassment, but after a couple of outings most realise that the kilt is more comfortable without undergarments.
So lets hope Jermaine soon appreciates the benefit of wearing a kilt commando style,

I personally don't care if Jermaine goes regimental or not

but I do agree with your assessment, on the fear of going regimental initially.

    Jermayne Jackson is no....

    Samuel L. Jackson, either.

But that's okay. So long as he doesn't wear it back to front, he may push the acceptance a little further along.

    Here's to Jermayne!

    Slainte!

Isn't Jermaine Jackson a member of the Nation of Islam? He's not the image I want associated with kilts, or Scotland, or anything else.
And he was talking about anti-racism?!

I thought Jermaine is Michael's Brother and I really careless about what he wants to wear under the kilt. As long as he is wearing one, there is one more man in kilt.

    He's clearly risk adverse.

Not that the press is following him around trying to get upkilt shots, but I'd probably be concerned if I were famous.

Perhaps Britney Spears could convince him of the joys of going regimental...

    ...on second thought, never mind...

I would suggest that Mr. Jackson’s religion should have little to do with our perceptions of him either wearing kilts or his feelings about racism. He may not fit your image of Kilts or Scotland, but it sounds to me that his enthusiasm to go get a kilt and wear it is admirable.
