    Mmmmm... leather.

No, not a new leather R-kilt (I WISH!) But, some nice leather none-the-less.

About a month ago I decided that my two kilt belts, though functional, just were not up to par with my nicer kilts. My original two kilt belts were the economy "one size fits darn near most!" Seriously. The velcro type adjustables with the rectangle plate/buckle. I had one black, one brown and shared the antique finish encono-plate between them. I had been intending to replace them with quality casual belts, but it wasn't until a previous thread here regarding belts that I finally made the move.

I had been browsing lots of online highland wear shops. But, what I wanted was a plain-jane pair of belts. One black, one brown. Then it hit me. Cavscout! So, I went over to his site and had a browse to figure what exactly I wanted. After a couple of emails, I decided on 2" belts. One black with edge beading and a nickle roller buckle (to match my Oconee sporran strap,) and one brown (chestnut to match my Oconee sporran strap) with a brass roller buckle. Though they are plain in design, their quality screams loud and clear. They are everything I expected from Steve, and they fit perfectly. I strongly urge anyone looking for a top quality, custom made belt to look into his options.
    Thanks Cavscout!

Cavscout does excellent leather work, really superior craftsmanship. I also have two of his sporran belts (one black, one brown). Looks great, Bradley.

Ditto here. Fabulous work on my chestnut belt and matching strap, and a pebble-grain black strap. I'm eagerly awaiting one of his black embossed dress belts. You can't do better at any price.
