You used to be able to get directions to the bermuda triangle.

It would start out normal....then a few lines down it would have the number but be blank. went like 20 lines down until a note was posted that read something like: sorry the directions were lost, please try again later.

You would need to be a very strong swimmer.
I guess Google are trying to do their bit to prevent global warming by ignoring the existence of the aeroplane as a means of travel.

But why through France? Doesn't it make sense to just get to Penzance, pick up the A30 to the A303? Oh right! All those pirates there!

That's okay, try Los Angeles to Honolulu, Hawaii.
"Directions cannot be calculated at this time, please try again later" was the response.

okay...old joke (modified for Chicago...you may adjust accordingly)

Cab driver is cruising around in the Chicago Loop when a well dressed guy flags him down. The guy gets into the cab and the driver asks him, "Where to?" The passenger says, "London". The cab driver says, "Are you nuts?' The passenger says, "Not at all...just drive."

So the cabbie gets on the expressway and leaves Chicago and drives to New York. When they get to New York, the passenger tells him to head for the docks. When they get to the docks there's a huge passenger liner at the pierside and the guy tells the cabbie to drive up a ramp right into the hold of the ship. They park the cab, the passenger hands the driver a ticket and they both adjourn to their seperate cabins. The cabbie's cabin is nice and he's flabbergasted by this whole thing. A couple of days later, the ship docks in Liverpool and they both get back in the cab, drive it off the ship and head for London. They finally get to London and the passenger says, "Just drop me off on that corner there." The cabbie pulls overand the passenger says, "How much do I owe you?" The cabbie flips the flag down on the meter and says, "$16,975.00". The guy gives him $20,000, says, "Keep the change.", and gets out of the cab.

So the cabbie doesn't know what to do...he starts driving around...his mind is totally blown. He looks up ahead and sees somebody flagging him down...he can't think of anything else to do, so he pulls over and the guy gets in the cab. The guy says, "Take me to 103rd and Western." And the cabbie says, "I'm sorry, I don't go to the South Side."
