    A Carousel Horse

    Just something I mess around with during my non-working hours. I did not make this horse, just the video. My father is the craftsman here!

    I just realized that some folks are running MACS and some have an aversion to plugins, so with that in mind, I uploaded the video to youtube..

    It looks great! Your dad is quite handy and talented. Is the colored part inlaid or painted? I can't tell. How long did it take him to make it?

    This is entirely done with inlays. The only additional item is some clear poly to seal it. It took close to three months to make.

    Amazing! I have recently started doing some real low level wood working and would have no idea how to do the inlay stuff or where to start.
