4 new kilt pins!
The knife and fork are actually converted antique hair clips. The spoon is sterling silver, and the sword is just an old pin. I thought that they were neat. I will be wearing the knife, fork and spoon on my new kitchen kilt that Kim is making me. A surprise that unfortunately wasn't finished in time for my birthday last weekend. I'll post picks when it's ready.

Well, every year I cook for a large group of people at a festival I attend. I've been cooking there for 5 years. My wife was TOLD last year that I would be cooking, and I WOULD BE KILTED! I was talking with kim about getting a lightwieght cotton canvas kilt so that I wouldn't get my wool kilt dirty. She remembered the conversation and has bought material and closures and everything she needs to make the kilt. I suppose most of you guys would call it an X-kilt. I will definitly post pics when she has finished it.

Excellent. Everybody will need to spoon up to the cook in the kilt.
