I signed up!
Soon In will be in the Tennessee State Guard! I have joined and will be officially Military Personnel! Finally, I will no longer have to bear the shameful designation of being the only Sims not to have served! Guess this means I'll have to get a U.S. Army tartan kilt!

hmm...will they let you show up to boot in a kilt? That would be really cool.

As a former basic training guy, I don't recommend that. Not at ALL. (Don't draw attention to yourself.)
Beuth, congratulations, and thanks for your (future) service!

I will definitly have a Kilted Class A. As a Cadet drill instructor in ROTC, I KNOW the dangers of standing out. NOT ME!

We had a young Guardsman show up for BCT with some kit from his unit supply... one of the items that dropped out of his duffle bag during shakedown was a pair of tanker boots... REALLY not a good thing to bring to BCT when your training cadre are all combat arms guys and gals, and your expected post MOS-training specialty is truck driver...
