What a Deal!

So a couple of weeks ago I bid too much on this kilt pin and won it, paying about $20 too much.


The last week I was searching kilts and ended up looking at this sgian dubh.



I put in a bid, and it survived! I was the first and only bidder ( a first for me) and won it for $15.95 plus $6 shipping. Well I got it today, and looked at the stamp on the blade. "Celtic Arts Ltd." Hmm. Curious, I Googled it, and found this



This is the very sgian, down to the smoky quartz stone. Retail price is 101 GBP! That MORE than makes up for the kilt pin (pretty as it is). Proof that you CAN get a deal on Ebay, if you're lucky.
