    Weekend at "The Country Club"

This past weekend I attended the wedding of a good friend. The wedding was nice, as most are, but was two worlds colliding. The wedding was held at "The Country Club" in Brookline where the bride's "old money" joined in matrimoney my friend's "no money". Of course, we all know "no money" is more fun provided we've enough to buy a new kilt occassionally.

From the left; my wife & I, Shelley & Paul, The bride, Nina & Groom, Rich and Jono. Paul, Rich, Jono, and I all had a good chuckle knowing we'd all met in our high school years attending and hanging out at various punk rock gigs. Now look at us. All grown up.

Nice Larry, I like the green jacket with the new kilt.
"The Country club" very high brow....Any side-ways glances from members?
Is the guy in the pink shirt wearing a silk jacket?
P.S that Avitar is kool! got your thanks on previous post. Any time! glad it worked.

No side ways glances Rich. I was disappointed that there weren't more kilts there. The brides family traces back to Scotland. The kilt did get me into conversations with people whom I otherwise probably wouldn't have spoken with.

Paul is wearing a silk jacket. Paul's wife is from Taiwan so he's got all kinds of east asian things. He was my best man BTW. One of my oldest friends, and certainly my craziest.
