Battle of Resaca

The Georgia Division Re-enactors Association is putting on the Battle of Resaca this weekend, in Resaca, GA.

This was the first major battle of Sherman's Atlanta Campaign, May 14-15, 1864. Should be an interesting, educational and enjoyable opportunity (in kilts, of course). I'm hoping to get up there with the family. Perhaps some of you North Georgia/SE Tennessee folks will find your way there.

I've been to Resaca a couple of time. During the 4 year period comprising the 125th anniversary battles I made ALL of the major reenacments and a good deal of the smaller ones. You will enjoy them.
