school fair
Heres a pic of the most exciting thing we did this weekend ... we went and run the hot dog stall at my nephews school fair. As you can see we were indoors .. its been rain rain and rain over most of the UK lately. Hope it improves in the next few days, Freelander and his family are coming for a couple of days .. we shall have an adventure no doubt. Also, Les, in the pic on the left (elaines best mate and she's in our band), was taken into hospital yesterday with a twisted gut. She was absolutely fine on Sat at the fair. They are sorting it today hopefully.

Such weather and low temperatures, Derek! Unheard of in June. It has now been raining here continuously, and heavily to boot, for more than two days .......... and I turned the central heating back on last evening!! All open-air events around here, like your school fair, are being transferred indoors where possible, or cancelled. My garden is a quagmire and, at this rate, I am in for a very wet and unpleasant 400+ mile drive to Dumfries on Thursday!! Anyway, I hope the fair was still a success for the school in spite of everything.
Please give Les my love and best Wishes for a speedy return to good health.
