July kilt days in West of Scotland

Although the weather in Scotland in the last few weeks has been absolutely lousy, we can always hope for better weather and with it good kilting days in July.
Here are some dates in the West of Scotland calendar for days out in your kilt if you are about, hopefully the weather will be kinder than it was in May for the Scottish Pipe Band championship.

14th JULY(Saturday) - Loch Lomond Highland Games at Balloch Castle Country Park.

15th July (Sunday) - Rosneath Highland Games at Howie Park

19th July (Thursday) - Island of Mull Highland Games in Tobermory

22nd July (Sunday) - Luss Highland Games at Loch Lomondside

There are a few others but these are the ones I have targeted to visit this year.

Sunday 8th July - Harpenden Highland Games

Saturday 21st July - Lochearnhead Highland Games at Balquhidder

Wednesday 25th July - Arisaig Highland Games

Saturday 11th August - Glasgow Green - World Pipe Band Championships

Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th August - Dumfries, Border Gathering - (will try to attend on the Friday or the Sunday)

Wednesday 29th August - Dumfries Kilts Night

Sunday 9th September - Peebles Highland Games
